Method
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and mash.
- In a skillet, melt butter and sauté the onion until translucent.
- Mix the sautéed onion, milk, and cheese into the mashed potatoes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Spoon the potato mixture into the pie crust.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until the pie is golden on top.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
