- 10 pieces fresh jalapeño peppers
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- to taste Salt and pepper
- as needed Olive oil or cooking spray For baking
Method
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove the seeds.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
- Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top of the filled jalapeños.
- Place the poppers on a baking sheet and lightly spray with olive oil or cooking spray.
Baking
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the jalapeños are tender and the tops are golden brown.
- Serve warm.

Notes
