  • 1 cup cream cheese Adds creaminess to the casserole.
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled Optional but adds great flavor.
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions For garnish and flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, BBQ sauce, cream cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well mixed.
  • In a greased casserole dish, layer the chicken mixture. Then, top with crumbled bacon and shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Sprinkle chopped green onions on top of the cheese.

Cooking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
