  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces Use lean chicken breast for a healthier option.
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter Melted before cooking.
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon garam masala For authenticity.
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish Adds flavor and a nice presentation.

Method

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until soft and translucent.
  • Add the garlic and ginger, and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  • Stir in the tomato paste, garam masala, turmeric, and cumin. Cook for 2-3 minutes to enhance the flavors.
  • Add the chicken pieces to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook until the chicken is lightly browned and cooked through.
  • Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream until well combined. Simmer for 5 minutes until everything is heated through.
  • Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot.

Notes
