Ingredients
For the meatballs
- 1 lb ground beef You can substitute with ground turkey or pork
- 1/2 cup almond flour Can substitute with coconut flour, adjust quantity accordingly
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese For a dairy-free option, use nutritional yeast
- 1 large egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
For the garlic butter sauce
- 4 tbsp butter Use unsalted butter for better flavor control
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
For garnish
- Fresh parsley Chopped, for garnish
Method
Preparation
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, almond flour, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
Cooking
- In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
- Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 8-10 minutes.
- Remove the meatballs and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter and add the minced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Return the meatballs to the skillet and toss in the garlic butter sauce.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to coat.
Serving
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes
Store leftover meatballs in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat gently in a skillet to maintain tenderness. They can also be frozen for longer storage.
