Ingredients

Pizza Bites Ingredients

  • 24 slices pepperoni Use good quality pepperoni for better flavor.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese You can experiment with different cheeses.
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning Optional ingredient.
  • 2 tablespoons low sugar pizza sauce Optional for extra flavor.
  • Cooking spray or olive oil For greasing the muffin pan.

Method

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Lightly grease a mini muffin pan with cooking spray or olive oil.
  • Place one slice of pepperoni into each muffin cup to form a base.
  • In a bowl, mix the mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning if using.
  • Add a small spoonful of the cheese mix on top of the pepperoni.
  • If using, add a small dot of pizza sauce under or over the cheese.

Baking

  • Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
  • Let them cool for 5 minutes before carefully removing from the pan.
