  • 4 slices bacon, chopped Use turkey bacon for a lighter version.
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Method

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy.
  • Remove the bacon and set it aside, leaving the drippings in the skillet.
  • Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until translucent.
  • Add the chopped cabbage to the skillet and cook, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is tender.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Stir in the reserved bacon before serving.
