  • 1 lb Cajun sausage
  • 4 cups green cabbage, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

Preparation

  • Slice the Cajun sausage into bite-sized pieces and shred the cabbage into thin strips.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, sauté the cabbage until softened, about 4-5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Add the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and Cajun seasoning to the skillet. Stir until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens.
  • Return the cooked sausage to the skillet, mixing everything until well combined.
  • Serve hot, garnished with additional Parmesan if desired.
