Ingredients
- 2 round sponge cake layers 6-inch
- 1 cup buttercream frosting
- Fondant white, pink, black, brown
- Gel food coloring
- Piping bags and tips
- Edible black pen
- Offset spatula
Method
- 1. Carve stacked cake into a dome shape.
- 2. Chill cake for 30 minutes.
- 3. Frost entire surface with buttercream.
- 4. Cover with white fondant and smooth.
- 5. Add fondant features: eyes, mouth, cheeks.
- 6. Pipe hair tufts with brown-tinted buttercream.
- 7. Add detail lines with edible pen.
- 8. Chill until ready to serve.
