Ingredients

  • 2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 ¼ cups granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tsp almond extract
  • Gray red, and black icing
  • Candy eyes or mini chocolate chips
  • Optional: fondant or icing triangles for ears

Method

  • 1. Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  • 2. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • 3. Add egg and almond extract; mix well.
  • 4. Gradually mix in dry ingredients to form dough.
  • 5. Chill dough for at least 1 hour.
  • 6. Roll out to ¼-inch thick and cut into oval/Labubu shapes.
  • 7. Bake at 350°F for 8–10 mins until edges are light golden.
  • 8. Cool completely before decorating.
  • 9. Use icing and candy details to create Labubu’s face.
  • 10. Let icing set fully before serving or storing.
