For the Brownies

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt Make sure it's smooth for better texture.
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup Use maple syrup for a vegan option.
  • 1/2 cup almond flour Ensure it's gluten-free if needed.
  • 2 pieces eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt

Method

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8x8 inch baking pan.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, almond flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.

Baking

  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
