  • 8 sticks Mozzarella cheese sticks
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 Eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs Make sure they are seasoned
  • 1 teaspoon Cayenne pepper Adjust according to spice preference
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • for frying as needed Oil Canola or vegetable oil recommended

Method

Preparation

  • Cut mozzarella sticks into desired sizes.
  • In three separate bowls, set up flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs mixed with cayenne pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and salt.
  • Dredge each mozzarella stick in flour, then dip in eggs, and coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  • Freeze the coated mozzarella sticks for at least 30 minutes.

Cooking

  • Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
  • Fry the mozzarella sticks until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
