- 1 cup natural almond butter or peanut butter Feel free to substitute with any nut or seed butter.
- 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup Use agave syrup for a vegan option.
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cacao powder
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (optional)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pinch salt
Method
Preparation
- In a large bowl, combine the oats, almond butter, honey, cacao powder, chocolate chips, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until well combined.
- Line a baking dish with parchment paper.
- Press the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or until firm.
- Cut into bars and serve.

Notes
