Ingredients

Crust Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups almond flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 3 tablespoons coconut oil, melted Make sure it's melted but not hot.
  • Pinch salt

Filling Ingredients

  • 1 can coconut milk (13.5 oz) Use full-fat for a creamier texture.
  • 1 cup dairy-free chocolate chips Regular chocolate chips can be used if not concerned about vegan.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, cocoa powder, maple syrup, melted coconut oil, and a pinch of salt. Mix until a dough forms.
  • Press the mixture into a tart pan to form the crust, making sure it’s even on the bottom and sides.

Making the Filling

  • In a saucepan, heat coconut milk over medium heat until just simmering.
  • Remove from heat and add the chocolate chips and vanilla extract, stirring until smooth.

Assembly

  • Pour the chocolate ganache into the crust and smooth the top.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or until set.

Serving

  • Serve chilled, sliced into wedges. Add toppings like crushed nuts, berries, or coconut flakes, and enjoy!
