- 4 pieces pork chops Bone-in for more flavor and moisture
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil For searing
Method
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Rub the seasoning mix over both sides of the pork chops.
Cooking
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the pork chops for about 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
- Transfer the chops to a baking dish and bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
- Let the pork chops rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes
