  • 1/2 head cabbage, finely shredded
  • 1 cup ground meat (pork, chicken, or tofu)
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • to taste salt and pepper

Method

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage, ground meat, grated carrot, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  • Take a dumpling wrapper and place a spoonful of the filling in the center.
  • Wet the edges of the wrapper with water and fold it over to form a half-moon shape, sealing it well.

Cooking

  • Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  • Place dumplings in the pan and fry until the bottom is golden brown, then add a bit of water to the pan and cover to steam for a few minutes.
  • Remove the lid and cook until the water evaporates and the dumplings are crispy again.

Notes
