Ingredients

For the cobbler

  • 4 cups canned peaches (or fresh peaches, sliced) Fresh peaches provide the best flavor.
  • 1 box yellow cake mix Can substitute with chocolate or spice cake mix for variation.
  • 1 cup butter (melted) Ensure it's fully melted.
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional) Adds warmth to the flavor.
  • 1/2 cup sugar (optional) Adjust based on the sweetness of peaches.
  • 1/4 cup water Pour around the edges of the dish.

Method

Preparation

  • Pour the dry cake mix evenly over the peaches.
  • Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix, ensuring it covers as much of the mix as possible.
  • Pour the water around the edges of the dish.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 40-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the cobbler is bubbling.
  • Let cool slightly before serving.
