- 1 package Whole wheat pizza dough
- 8 oz Low-fat pepperoni
- 8 oz Part-skim mozzarella cheese
Seasoning and Sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 cup Tomato sauce for dipping
Method
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the whole wheat pizza dough on a floured surface.
- Cut the dough into rectangles.
- Place a few pieces of low-fat pepperoni and a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese on each rectangle.
- Fold the dough over to seal the rolls and place them on a baking sheet.
- Sprinkle Italian seasoning over the top.
Baking
- Bake for about 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm with tomato sauce for dipping.

Notes
For added flavor, brush a little olive oil on top before baking. These rolls can also be customized with different fillings or toppings.
