  • 2 slices slices of bread (sourdough, white, or whole wheat) Choose your favorite type of bread.
  • 2 tbsp butter (softened) Softened for easy spreading.
  • 2-3 slices cheddar cheese (or your favorite melting cheese) Feel free to use any melting cheese you prefer.
  • 4-6 slices dill pickle slices (or bread and butter pickles for a sweeter taste) Adjust according to taste.
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard (optional, for extra tang) Optional ingredient for additional flavor.
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional, for extra flavor) Optional ingredient for added flavor.

Method

Preparation

  • Spread butter evenly on one side of each bread slice.
  • Place one slice (butter-side down) on a skillet. Add a layer of cheese, then arrange pickle slices evenly on top.
  • Spread Dijon mustard on the second slice (if using) and place it on top, butter-side up.

Cooking

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the sandwich for 3-4 minutes on each side until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  • Remove from heat, let it cool slightly, slice in half, and enjoy!
