Ingredients

For the tea

  • 1 cup pineapple juice Use fresh juice for best flavor.
  • 1 cup hibiscus tea You can use dried hibiscus flowers instead of tea bags; use about 1/4 cup.
  • 1 cup watermelon juice Freshly juiced watermelon is recommended.
  • 2 cups water For steeping the hibiscus tea.
  • to taste unit honey or sweetener Adjust according to your preference.
  • as desired unit fresh mint leaves Optional garnish.

Method

Preparation

  • In a pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
  • Add hibiscus tea and steep for 5-7 minutes.
  • Strain the tea into a pitcher.
  • Add pineapple juice and watermelon juice to the strained hibiscus tea.
  • Stir in honey or sweetener to taste.
  • Chill in the refrigerator or serve over ice.
  • Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
