  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips Melted with almond butter.
  • 1/2 cup protein powder Can substitute with flavored varieties.
  • 1/2 cup oats Can toast for crunchier texture.
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup Maple syrup can be used for vegan option.
  • 1/4 cup almond butter Use natural for a healthier option.
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, mix the pistachios, oats, protein powder, and salt together.
  • In a small saucepan, melt the almond butter and dark chocolate over low heat. Once melted, stir in the honey and vanilla extract until well combined.

Mixing and Baking

  • Pour the chocolate mixture over the dry ingredients and mix until everything is well coated.
  • Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and press it down evenly.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes, until set.
  • Allow to cool before cutting into bars. Enjoy!
