Ingredients

For the stuffing

  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For garnish

  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley for garnish

For the mushrooms

  • 12 large mushrooms cleaned and stems removed

Method

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Clean the mushrooms and remove their stems.
  • In a bowl, mix together cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until everything is well combined.
  • Stuff each mushroom cap with the cheese mixture.
  • Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the mushrooms are tender and the tops are golden brown.
  • Garnish with parsley before serving.
