Ingredients

For the Margarita

  • 2 oz tequila
  • 1 oz pineapple juice Use fresh for best flavor.
  • 1 oz lime juice Freshly squeezed is recommended.
  • 1/2 unit jalapeño, sliced Adjust quantity for spice level.
  • 1 oz agave syrup Optional, to taste.
  • to taste none Ice For shaking.
  • to taste none Salt for rimming Optional.
  • 2-3 units Pineapple wedges and jalapeño slices for garnish Optional garnishes.

Method

Preparation

  • If desired, rim the glass with salt.
  • In a shaker, combine tequila, pineapple juice, lime juice, agave syrup, and jalapeño slices.
  • Fill the shaker with ice and shake well until chilled.
  • Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice.
  • Garnish with pineapple wedges and additional jalapeño slices.
  • Serve and enjoy!
