Ingredients
Main Ingredients
- 5 pieces medium chicken thighs (bone-in, skin-on)
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 ounce dry ranch seasoning (approximately 2 tablespoons)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Method
Preparation
- Set your oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil, and lightly spray it with cooking oil.
- Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
- In a small bowl, combine the baking powder, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper. Stir until evenly mixed.
- Rub the spice mixture evenly over each chicken thigh, ensuring both the skin and underside are coated.
- Place the seasoned chicken thighs on the baking sheet, skin-side up.
Cooking
- Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 30–40 minutes until cooked through.
- Check for doneness with a meat thermometer. The internal temperature should reach 165°F.
- Once fully cooked, baste each thigh with the pan juices for extra flavor.

Notes
For extra crispiness, thoroughly dry the chicken thighs before applying the spice mix. Feel free to adjust the amount of ranch seasoning to taste. You can marinate the chicken in ranch dressing for a deeper flavor.
