  • 1 box red velvet cake mix
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs Use room temperature eggs for better mixing.
  • as needed cup Powdered sugar for rolling More may be needed for coating.

Method

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the red velvet cake mix, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until well blended.
  • Scoop tablespoon-sized amounts of dough and roll them into balls.
  • Roll each ball in powdered sugar until fully coated.
  • Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spaced about 2 inches apart.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set and the centers are soft.
  • Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
