Dry Rub Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder

- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper adjust to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon mustard powder optional
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme optional
- 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt optional
Method
Preparation
- In a small bowl, combine all the ingredients with a fork.
- Make sure there are no clumps.
- Once the mixture looks uniform, you may use it immediately or store it in an air-tight container.
- Store your rub in a cool and dark place for up to 6 to 8 weeks.
Serving
- To serve, evenly coat your chicken wings with the dry rub before cooking.
- You can grill, bake, or fry the wings based on your preference.
- Once cooked, serve them hot with your favorite dipping sauces like ranch or blue cheese.
