Method
Preparation
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning.
- Place the seasoned chicken in the slow cooker in a single layer.
- Add cubed butter, minced garlic, chicken broth, lemon juice, and thyme to the slow cooker.
Cooking
- Cover and cook on LOW for 3–4 hours or HIGH for 1.5–2 hours until the chicken is tender.
- Slice or shred the chicken and spoon the sauce over the top before serving.
