- 2 pounds chicken thighs (bone-in, skinless)
- 1 cup honey
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced

Method
Preparation
- Place the chicken thighs in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and ground ginger. Pour this mixture over the chicken.
Cooking
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours, until the chicken is tender.
- Once cooked, remove the chicken from the slow cooker and set it aside.
- In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry. Stir this into the sauce in the slow cooker and cook on high for about 15 minutes, until the sauce thickens.
- Return the chicken to the slow cooker, coating it in the thickened sauce.
Serving
- Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds and chopped green onions, if desired.

Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the honey-soy mixture for a few hours before cooking. Allow any leftovers to cool completely before transferring them to an airtight container. For longer storage, place the chicken in a freezer-safe container and it can last for up to 3 months.
