Ingredients

For the glaze

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 pound carrots, peeled and cut into sticks
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Method

Preparation

  • Prepare all ingredients by peeling and cutting the carrots into even sticks.
  • In a bowl, mix the olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
  • Toss the carrots in the olive oil mixture.

Cooking

  • Place the carrots in the slow cooker and drizzle with maple syrup and brown sugar.
  • Cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours until the carrots are tender.

Notes
