Ingredients
For the glaze
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 pound carrots, peeled and cut into sticks
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
Method
Preparation
- Prepare all ingredients by peeling and cutting the carrots into even sticks.
- In a bowl, mix the olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
- Toss the carrots in the olive oil mixture.
Cooking
- Place the carrots in the slow cooker and drizzle with maple syrup and brown sugar.
- Cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours until the carrots are tender.
