Method

Preparation

  • Start by placing the chicken in the slow cooker.
  • In a bowl, mix the teriyaki sauce, honey (if using), garlic, ginger, sesame oil, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour the sauce over the chicken, ensuring it’s well coated.

Cooking

  • Once cooked, shred the chicken with a fork, stir it back into the sauce, and let it sit for 10 more minutes before serving.
