- 8 oz egg noodles
- 1 lb ground beef Can substitute with ground turkey or chicken.
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Can use other types of cheese.
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup Can substitute with another type of cream soup.
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup milk
Method
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions. Once done, drain them.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef along with the chopped onion over medium heat. Drain any excess fat.
- In a bowl, mix the sour cream, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, and season with salt and pepper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked noodles, the ground beef mixture, and the sour cream mixture until everything is well mixed.
- Transfer this mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until heated through and the cheese is melted.

Notes
Store leftovers covered tightly in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. For longer storage, freeze tightly wrapped and thaw in the refrigerator before reheating.
