Method
Preparation
- In a bowl, mix together the sourdough discard, milk, egg, and melted butter.
- In another bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Cooking
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined; the batter should be lumpy.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it.
- Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake.
- Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown on the other side.
