Method

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, fry the diced bacon over medium heat until crispy.
  • Remove the bacon and set aside, leaving the grease in the skillet.
  • Add chopped onion and cook until translucent.

  • Add chopped cabbage to the skillet, stirring to coat in bacon grease.
  • Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  • Cook until cabbage is wilted and tender, about 10-15 minutes.
  • Stir in the crispy bacon before serving.
