Ingredients
Pasta and Sausages
- 12 oz pasta (such as penne or spaghetti)
- 1 lb sausages (Italian or smoked, sliced)
Sauce Ingredients
- 1/4 cup honey
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Seasoning and Garnish
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Method
Cooking the Pasta
- Cook the pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
Cooking the Sausages
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced sausages and cook until browned.
- Mix in the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, and cook for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- In a bowl, combine honey and soy sauce, then pour over the sausage mixture in the skillet. Stir well to coat.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to combine everything thoroughly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
