Ingredients

Pasta and Sausages

  • 12 oz pasta (such as penne or spaghetti)
  • 1 lb sausages (Italian or smoked, sliced)

Sauce Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Seasoning and Garnish

  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Method

Cooking the Pasta

  • Cook the pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

Cooking the Sausages

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced sausages and cook until browned.
  • Mix in the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, and cook for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • In a bowl, combine honey and soy sauce, then pour over the sausage mixture in the skillet. Stir well to coat.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to combine everything thoroughly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
