Stove Top Stuffing Waffles

A fun twist on a classic dish, these crispy and golden waffles made from stuffing are perfect for breakfast or as a side dish.

Ingredients

For the waffles

  • 2 boxes Stove Top Stuffing (or Homemade leftovers) Use any flavor you prefer.
  • 2 large Eggs Whisked.
  • 1/4 cup Chicken Stock Can substitute with vegetable stock for vegetarian option.
  • 1 can Pan Spray To prevent sticking in the waffle maker.

Method

Preparation

  • Prepare the Stove Top stuffing according to package instructions. Once prepared, spread it out in a pan and let it cool completely for about 30 minutes.
  • In a mixing bowl, add the cooled stuffing, 2 whisked eggs, and 1/4 cup of chicken stock. Mix all the ingredients together until well combined.
  • Form the stuffing mixture into 8 equal-sized balls, about 1/3 cup each. Make sure to pack the stuffing tightly so they hold their shape.

Cooking

  • Spray the waffle maker with pan spray to prevent sticking. Press the stuffing balls into the bottom of the waffle maker to fill it completely.
  • Close the top of the waffle maker and hold it down for about 15 seconds. Continue to cook until the waffle is crispy.
  • Carefully transfer the waffles to a cooling rack and keep them warm in the oven or microwave while you cook the rest.

Notes

You can reheat leftover waffles in an air fryer or oven at 400°F for about 5 minutes until they are golden and crispy.
