  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 can (15 oz) crushed pineapple, drained
  • 2 cups strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup miniature marshmallows
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional) Try toasted nuts like pecans or almonds for extra crunch.

Method

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, dissolve the strawberry gelatin in boiling water. Stir in cold water. Chill until slightly thickened, about 1 hour.
  • Stir in the drained crushed pineapple, sliced strawberries, marshmallows, and nuts (if using).
  • Fold in the whipped topping until well combined.
  • Pour the mixture into a large glass bowl and refrigerate until set, about 2 hours.
