  • 2 cups plain yogurt (Greek or regular can be used)
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped Use ripe strawberries for best flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional, to taste)

Method

Preparation

  • Wash the strawberries and hull them to remove the green tops. Then chop the strawberries into small pieces.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the yogurt and honey (if using), stirring well until smooth.
  • Gently fold in the chopped strawberries until they are evenly distributed in the yogurt.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Using a spoon or a small cookie scoop, drop dollops of the strawberry yogurt mixture onto the parchment paper.
  • Place the baking sheet in the freezer for about 2-3 hours, or until the dots are completely frozen.
  • Once frozen, remove them from the parchment paper and store them in an airtight container or zip-top bag.

Notes
