Method
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef and onion over medium heat until the meat is browned and the onion is tender. Drain any excess fat.
- In a large bowl, mix the cooked beef with cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, and pepper.
Assembly and Baking
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish. Top with frozen tater tots in a single layer.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and the casserole is bubbly.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
