  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • cup water (adjust slightly as needed for consistency)
  • Optional: garlic powder or dried herbs for added flavor

Method

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the sourdough discard, flour, salt, and baking powder.
  • Add the olive oil and slowly mix in the water until the dough comes together. Adjust water as needed.
  • Knead the dough on a floured surface for a minute or two until it’s smooth.
  • Roll it out to your desired thickness and place it on a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  • Add your favorite toppings—sauce, cheese, veggies, or meats.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
  • Slice and serve hot.
